Las Vegas Personal Injury Lawyer, Donald Kudler and his client walked out victorious after a Short Trial this week. The case involved a rear end accident between two pick up trucks exiting a parking. Both Trucks had minor damage to their sold steel bumpers (see, photo to left). The case had previously been through an Arbitration in which the Arbitrator found for the Defendant and awarded no damages to our client.
The client has a long history of back pain caused by prior accidents. He received treatment from Ted Thorpe, M.D. for the accident and had x-rays at Las Vegas Radiology. The Defendant admitted liability at the Trial, but contested any damages. After hearing our client, his wife and the Defendant testify, they heard closing arguments and retired to consider the case. The returned with a verdict in the Plaintiff’s favor awarding him medical specials and pain and suffering damages as a result of the injury accident.
This was not a case involving large amounts of medical treatment. However, it was one that needed to go to Trial in order to ensure that our client was fully compensated for the injuries he suffered in the accident.
