Las Vegas personal injury lawyer, Donald C. Kudler, of the law firm Cap & Kudler, has settled a case on behalf of his client who was a victim of a personal injury accident. The client was traveling with a companion on a Transportation Company’s Shuttle-type bus heading South on Rainbow Blvd. The bus driver made a sharp, fast, turn causing the client’s companion’s motorized scooter to flip over. It is our position that the scooter would not have flipped over if the bus driver had ensured that it was properly secured before continuing to drive. The client was injured when she tried to stop the her companion from falling then helped her up.
The client suffered injuries to her neck, back, and the left side of her body. She received care for her injuries from Samuel Kantor, M.D., Jeffrey Crudo, M.D.,R.D.,and Rachakonda D. Prabhu, M.D. of Red Rock Medical Center, and Ted Thorp, M.D. She also saw Sanghamitra Basu, M.D. of Sans Pain Clinic for pain management.
The case was unable to settle prior to litigation due to the adverse side’s belief that our client ‘s injuries were not caused by the accident and that they were not at fault for causing our client any injuries. After filing a lawsuit, we were able to reach a settlement despite the arguments raised by the Defendant.
